Adobe Illustrator 2017 JPG export CMYK to RGB bug

Hi! There's a problem I've found today.

After editing a CMYK document I was trying to export a JPG preview in RGB mode through Export As (and then Export for Screens as well) - but Illustrator was still exporting in CMYK! And it was reseting exporting settings to default (it's strange, but it even reseting the image quality to 0). Checking Embed sRGB profile doesn't have any effect.

Exporting to PNG is a small desicion of the problem - but I need JPG.

The was no such a problem in previous verison of Illustrator.

Any ideas? Thanks!

If you have Illustrator CC 2015 installed, you can create a new Action maybe name it "Export JPG to Desktop" and do exporting RGB image with your preferred resolution to Desktop, then Save this Action and load it in CC 2017 to use it when you need to export RGB images till Adobe able to fix this bug

Do you have the latest version; 2017.0.2 ?

What program do you use to check it?

Just checked, opening in PS produces correct colors, but for some reason any system or othe image viewershows these images like negatives, black/dark yello. Perhaps Ai does not export in a standard?

On a second note, how to export multiple artboards as CMYK TIFF?

Hello! Anybody can do this action and pour it into the archive to the cloud, so that I can download yourself?

It will not even export as rich black, only as 100k black!! It's messing up my mask textures for 3ds Max!!!

You can install the previous version for this kind of work (and when you are talking about 100 jpegs a day I would do that).

This is crazy, I updated to 2017 today (12/20/16), If i knew of this bug i wouldn't of updated it. I export and average of 100 jpgs a day. All going from CYMK to RGB. I'm now having to export them in Illustrator then convert them in photoshop

adobe are saying this is fixed in the next update to 2017, which has been posted in prerelease and thus shouldn't be far away.

Have you tried just saving as a PDF using the Smallest File Size preset?
