AI 26.4 PDF changing crop and size copy pasting from one document to another

Open multi-page PDF with cropmarks

Copy opened file

Paste to new document (large ai - not sure if specific)

Pasted PDF is now cropped to the crop marks, but at the overall dimension INCLUDING crop marks from the previous document.

So it's taking the visual area, cropping it, and stretching it to the artboard size when pasted.

Thanks for that 90 minutes of lost time adobe.

Rolled back to version 26.2.1 and it's working as it should.

We are sorry to hear about this. Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the same workflow in which you face this issue on v26.4.1? No need to update. Just follow the same workflow on v26.2.1 and share the recording with us.

Also, if possible, please share the PDF as well. This would be really helpful for us to replicate the issue at our end on v26.4.1.
