AI generator not working

Hello,

 

I bought the Adobe CC a few days ago but the AI generation tool doesn't work. I tried yesterday and it didn't work and I tried to use it the whole day today and still not working. Has someone else experienced the same issue that I do ? Thank you !

It was surprising to see a problem reported in 2023 still hasn't been resolved in 2025. I just installed Illustrator and received the same "Internet connection" error while using the text to vector graphic (beta) AI generator.

I had been expecting issues with the ones I used, when I taped the generate button, I kept getting this "something went wrong with the generator" response. Any recommendations, please?

To better understand and address the problem, could you provide some additional information?

  • Are you able to surf the internet without any issues?

  • Do you have any firewall, antivirus, or security applications that might be affecting the connection?

  • If your internet connection is stable and unrestricted, we would appreciate it if you could share the performance logs with us. Here's how you can do that:

    • Close Adobe Illustrator > Launch Command Prompt > Paste the following command and hit Enter set AI_ENABLE_LOGS=1 && "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2024\Support
      On Mac, launch the app from the Terminal app:
      AI_ENABLE_LOGS=1 "/Applications/Adobe Illustrator 2024/Adobe Illustrator.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Illustrator"
    • Launch Illustrator and start using Text to Vector, and the logs then shall be accessible at
      Windows: %appdata%\Adobe\Logs\Adobe Illustrator\28.0\Adobe Illustrator\AIPerformance.log
      Mac: ~/Library/Logs/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator/28.0/Adobe Illustrator/AIPerformance.log
    • Upload this AIPerformance.log file to Google Drive/Dropbox and share a public download link here so that we can share it with the product team.

  • Your system specifications: Please share details about your CPU, RAM, GPU, and your computer's manufacturer and model.

  • Specifics of the issue:

    • Does this issue occur every time you attempt to use the feature, or are you able to use it after a period of time with the same prompt or selection?
