Blank screen in Illustrator

Hello!

I've been trying to open Illustrator but it only shows a blank screen (image attached). I use CC.

I can open the menu bar, and I can click all of them, but they do nothing (except for the Quit Illustrator button).

Things I've tried:

I've opened Photoshop and it's working normally.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hello @Fernando Luis24846919jpir,

Thank you for reaching out with your concern about the blank screen you're encountering when trying to open Illustrator. I understand how frustrating this situation can be, and I'm here to assist you in resolving it.

It's unfortunate that you've already tried several troubleshooting steps that haven't yielded the desired outcome. To further assist you, I have one suggestion that might help:

  • Rename the UXP folder to UXP.old and the CEP folder to CEP.old from the following location:
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe
    ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

Note: Location starting with this "~" sign indicates the User Library, which is hidden. So, you need to copy & paste the exact path in spotlight search or from Finder Menu > Go > Go to Folder > Paste the location in the dialog box like this:

If the issue persists despite your efforts, could you kindly share additional details? Information about your system, macOS version, and the specific version of Illustrator (stable/ beta) you're using would be incredibly helpful in tailoring our assistance to your unique circumstances.

Best regards,

Anshul Saini
