Bug - "Export As" window can't be resized

I don't know if anyone else has posted about this as I couldn't find an answer anywhere.

Adobe Illustrator:  When I use the "Export As" feature, the window that comes up is filling my entire screen and there's no way to resize it.

The same feature works fine in Adobe Photoshop though.
I move my cursor to the edge of the window and get the 'resize' arrow but when I click and hold my mouse button, it doesn't respond.  I've tried all sides and all corners of the window and even though I get a cursor indicating I can resize it, I actually can't.

Is this a known bug?

Adobe Illustrator 27.8 (64-bit)

Hello @CmdrTomalak6330,

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the "Export As" window in Adobe Illustrator. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  • First, make sure that you have the latest version of Adobe Illustrator installed. You mentioned that you're using version 27.8, but it's possible that there's a more recent update available that could address this issue.
  • If you're still having trouble resizing the "Export As" window, try changing your Display and UI scaling settings. Here's how:
  • Close Illustrator.
  • Open Settings > System > Display (for Windows) or Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Displays (for macOS)
  • Change the Display Resolution and Scaling to the defaults
  • Relaunch Illustrator and try using the "Export As" feature again.
  • If none of these solutions work, kindly share some more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, system config (CPU/GPU/Memory), screenshots of the OS Screen Resolution and Scaling settings, and Illustrator's User Interface preferences, and a screen recording of the problem (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/screen-record-an-issue-on-windows-amp-macos-for-sharing/td-p/12967727), so we can investigate this further.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Anubhav

Hi,

I'm working remotely and both my display and scaling settings are already set to default (recommended).  My co-worker who isn't working remotely has the exact same issue at the office (different computer).  Can I assume by your asking me for more details that you checked first to see if it occurs for you as well and that it does not?  Can you or someone else in the community have a look and see if this bug applies to them as well and confirm it?

What specs are you looking for? My home computer or my work computer?
