Copy paste Illustrator text formatting problem

Hello,

I have a copy and paste problem in illustrator since a few days. When I want to copy and paste a text (on the same file), the pasted text does not keep its formatting. When I want to copy it in place, it is not in the right place...

I have reset my Illustrator preferences, updated them but nothing works.

Do you have a solution?

Are you selecting the text object, or are you highlighting the text to copy it?

What happens if you try Paste in Front?

I select the text object. And when I paste on the front, it doesn't work as well 😕😕
