Could not read the file because the plug-in could not understand this file - Illustrator 2021

Ok then..

I want to open a .png file on Illustrator 2021.

Apparently this is an old problem error "Could not read the file because the plug-in could not understand this file."..

Can anybody please tell me how I can fix it in illutrator 2021??
