Holding shift to make perfect elipse/square/triangle not working

Hi guys,

I'm struggling on my illustrator to create perfect shapes holding shift, it just deforms them and I kinda haven't found any tutorial about that.

I've seen an topic about it on After Effects, but the solution there doesn't apply to this software.

The PC I use in my graphic design course works pretty normal, but I still haven't figured out why it's happening on mine.

I've reinstalled windows and the softwares and the problem persists.

Do any of you know how to solve this?

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind checking if your computer is set to use the default scaling (100%) and resolution under Windows Settings and checking if it helps?

If the issue persists, kindly share a screen recording of the entire process (drawing the circle/exporting it as a PDF and then viewing it), the exact version of the OS/Illustrator installed, and the system configuration (CPU/GPU/Memory/Display Monitor), so we can investigate this further.
