How to install previous version of Illustrator v28

Hello, We have $7k worth of plugins from a third party, which never expire; however, they only work with Illustrator 28. Adobe Creative Cloud no longer offers versions prior 29. How can we get this older version? Thanks, Vincent

How do I get 2021 v25.2 Illustrator? I have a plugin I have to use that won’t work with anything newer than that.

@KidVicious I duplicate my answer to your duplicate question here:

In short: you can’t. The only officially available versions of any product are the current + the previous (i.e. 2026-2025).

First, what plug-in is that? Can you contact the plug-in manufacturer and see if they upgraded it to the current Illustrator version? If not, then maybe there are alternatives?

In theory, you can also try to contact Adobe support and present your case. If Adobe decides you have a legitimate reason, they might provide you a download link to the desired version, but don’t count on it.

I’m running the latest Illustrator on Windows 11 and it crashes multiple times a day. It is unusable. Can I please get version 28 as well? I’ve heard it’s more stable. The software is unusable.

hi. i need to download an older version of illustrator (i’m using macos big sur ver 11.7.4). CC desktop app only allows me to download ver 30.4, which isn’t compatible with big sur. i can't find any download links for the older versions. the option ‘other versions’ doesnt pop up on my cc desktop app. i can provide my adobe ID if needed.
