Illustrator 2024 first time launches to a blank welcome screen

Everytime I launch Illustrator 2024, the welcome screen is blank, without text or boxes.

It is the first time launch, so I guess I am supposed to check item (terms and license etc) but dialogue box is blank.

Closing the box, results in Illustrator crashing out.

 

I attached an image to visually represent my challenge.

Thanks for sharing the details and attaching the image. I understand how frustrating this must be. Would you mind telling us the below: 

1. Could you share the details of your operating system (e.g., Windows 10, 11, or macOS with the version number)?

2. Is this issue constant every time you launch Illustrator, or does it happen intermittently?

 

In the meantime, try the below: 

1. Clear Preferences

 - Close Illustrator.

 - Relaunch it while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac). You should see a prompt to reset preferences. Confirm to proceed. References: How to set preferences in Illustrator

 

2. Launch in Safe Mode

 - On Windows, hold down Shift while launching Illustrator. For Mac, hold down Shift + Option while launching. This disables any third-party plugins that might be causing the issue.

3. If you're on Windows, ensure your GPU drivers are up to date. Visit the website of your GPU manufacturer (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) to download the latest drivers.

 

4. Create a new user account on your computer and try launching Illustrator from there to rule out user-profile-specific issues. References:

If none of these steps work, let us know. Please also include any error messages or additional behaviors you notice when the crash occurs. This will help us guide you further.
