Illustrator CC 2015 crashes when using the "Save For Web" feature.

We are having a great issue here with Illustrator CC, We had been using Adobe products for the last 20 years, and this is a first for illustrator

We had RE-INSTALLED Illustrator cc at least 3 times already. We believe the LIBRARY is the problem, this is a PAIN in the neck, unbearable, we can not do anything at all, we have a collection of recoverable files to archive. We find out we can only work in illustrator with type and 2 colors file, (pointless)

We tried the options mentioned in this post, it did not help,

I really hope Adobe can look into this.

We've updated to CC2015 on one of our machines and it still crashes sometimes.

Downloading the patch now. This happens once every ~10 times for me, so I've just lived with it for months.. and occasionally lost a half hour of work here or there.

Any crash that happens while saving a file should be considered a release-blocking bug. This is the very end of the workflow, and makes it especially vulnerable to work loss -- "save for web", save the AI, and I'm done.

Shipping this bug is totally unacceptable, and makes me much less enthusiastic about subscribing to CC for all the newest upgrades. I've lost hours of work over the last few months.

Please take bugs like this more seriously in the future.

I've had this problem as well.  Will do the patch..

Illustrator also just crashes upon opening occasionally in 2015 v

Not sure why these sort of bugs weren't picked up before release though??

I've got kind of a "solution" until the update/bug fix is out. I saved my file as .ai and also as .svg. When i opened the .svg file in Illustrator, i could save for web as .jpg without any problems. Perhaps this might help some of you in the meantime.

Finally googled this as its getting really frustrating and i'm losing a lot of time in the day having to restart my machine every time i want to save to web.

Normally happens when i try to save at an image size larger than original. It will just keep crashing till i do a system restart.

Chiming in here. Same issue on latest 2015.0.0  release version 19.0.0 - doesn't happen every time but quite frequently when changing a setting at Save For Web. Super annoying. Worked fine in CC 2014.

I am experiencing similar issues on Windows 10 on CS5.1. I've tried everything and even re-installed. Nothing works. Please fix this Adobe!
