Correct answer Bill Silbert

I've seen other reports of this. It does not appear that it is happening to every user but some Macs seem to be having this problem. You should either keep a lookout for the Beta 5 to come out or revert your system to High Sierra. This is the kind of thing you should expect when beta testing a new OS.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Illustrator CC 2019, and that seemed to correct the problem I was having after upgrading to Mojave.

Is Illustrator working under the official GM release of Mojave or are there any known issues?

This is the official statement:

Adobe Creative Cloud apps and macOS 10.14 Mojave compatibility issues

That's all we know as of now.

The secure thing to do would be to set up a test system for it and test it under your conditions, but don't install it on productive systems yet. There are a lot of parameters that would need to cooperate and Illustrator is just one small cog wheel in this.

BTW: just today someone has discovered a security hole in Mojave. https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/macos-mojave-vulnerability-security-bypass/

Thanks for the report! Since Apple beta program is just for collecting feedback on pre-release software, it's not surprising to hear your AI CC don’t work properly on Mojave beta. So far Adobe didn't officially support pre-release versions of macOS.

Also, Apple discourages test users to blog, post screenshots, tweet, or publicly post information about the public beta software, which makes all these Mojave beta problems even harder to get resolved.

Personally, I suggest you make some general check on your app compatibility, like if it’s 32-bits app? If it gets affected by Apple System Integrity Protection (SIP)? Some useful troubleshooting tips could be found:

That's why it's called a beta.
