Dear Adobe,

It's July 29th, and your communications about the Illustrator release for Microsoft Copilot+ PCs are as sparse as a Western ghost town at high noon. We're left squinting at the horizon, hoping to see the Illustrator stagecoach roll in, but all we hear is tumbleweeds.

While software development can be as unpredictable as a quick-draw contest, a smoke signal or two wouldn't hurt. We're not asking for a daily telegraph, but some news would be mighty appreciated.

As I saddle up for vacation, I can't help but wonder: will I return to find Illustrator finally in town, or will I need to mosey on over to Affinity's saloon if this radio silence persists?

Looking forward to some news that isn't as elusive as a mirage in the desert heat!

While we don’t have an ETA, I would like to assure you that our team is working diligently on making the release version of Illustrator available for Microsoft Copilot+ PCs with Snapdragon X Series ARM processors, and more details will be available soon. I will update this thread with any new information. We appreciate your patience.

@ella_3611 Were you able to read Adobe Illustrator requirements which was last updated on November 5, 2024? https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/illustrator/system-requirements.html#ai-on-the-desktop

I know a few of my students do have a Surface, and they do have Adobe Illustrator. I didn't ask which Surface they own. I can ask them next week

Hi, does anyone know when Illustrator may be released on Microsoft surface? I need it for school and I didn't know it wouldn't be compatible!

@sifab77737116 sorry for the late reply, you should be able to download the full versions of adobe applications. Just go to adobe.com , log-in, and download. I would not use the Beta versions. I have personally removed all Beta applications on my computer.

@creative explorer Only the Beta version of Illustrator is currently available for Snapdragon processors.

Hello!, same here. I just changed my old computer for a new Microsoft Surface Pro 11 and Microsoft Laptop 7edition , both with Snap Dragon and found out there is no Illustrator for any of them 😞

When is adobe planning to release the version for this processor?

Hello! So I just purchased the 11th gen surface pro, which comes with a Snapdragon X Plus processor. I was really exicted until I discovered that Adobe Illustrator isn't available in its full version on the laptop. It's only available in Beta, which has significally less function than the full version I'm used to. I also found that this has been an issue for a while now and I don't see any new posts about when they're expecting to have illustrator be compatible with Snapdragon.

I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything about any updates to this issue? Again I'm looking for when the full version will be compatilble NOT Beta. It makes me wonder if I should just return my new laptop and stick with my Surface Pro 8.

I had the beta version installed and yesterday it quit working. I am so frustrated at the delay and unreliability of this product; which I pay monthly for. My business relies heavily on Illustrator and I feel like I am left hanging and all I did was buy a new laptop.

i need InDesin and Illustartor (SurfacePro 11). Can't find them in the Beta section. Why can i not just download the x86 Version. Should be slow, while emulated but better then noting.

Please give for access throgh beta for this Versions.

Our team is looking to expand to other locales soon, and I will update this thread when I have more information.
