Illustrator creates unwanted duplicated layer while exporting file to dxf

Hi, when I use the latest version of Illustrator to export an ai file to dxf file it creates unwanted duplicated layer (they all named 'LWPOLYLINE')

I didn't have this problem before, and after I deleted the duplicated layers it doesn't let me saving in dxf format, I can only export it in dxf which means it creates duplicated layers again.

Also the line thickness are thinner than those in the original ai file.

I have downloaded previous version (2021) but it doesn't help.

Could anyone please help?

Thanks

Hi @Rachel23885784evpc,

We are sorry for the trouble & delayed response. Would you mind confirming the exact version of Illustrator 2022 & 2021 in which you are facing the issue? Also, would it be possible for you to share a small recording or steps to reproduce the issue? It would be really helpful for us.

I will be looking forward to your response.

Thanks & Regards,

I have already attached the photo, could you please see and help?

Thanks.

Hi @Rachel23885784evpc,

Sorry for the delayed response. Would you mind sharing the Ai & DXF files here or via DM? We'll check on our end. Also, can you highlight the unwanted duplicated layer in the screenshots?

Moreover, we have released Illsuartor 2023 this week. Would you mind updating and checking if that helps?

Kindly update the discussion if you still need assistance with it. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks & Regards,
Anshul Saini
