Hello,

I decided to update my illustrator and it seems like it is having some issues.
I have a Mac 2020 with 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB, 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

And every Itime I open it this shows and I can't do anything about it or click anything.

Please Help.

Thank you.

Hello @Ian2757221053v4,

Sorry to hear about your experience. I hope the suggestions shared by Monika helped resolve the problem. If not, kindly try the following steps and check if it helps:

- Close all Adobe applications.

- Rename the UXP folder to UXP.old from the following location:
(Windows) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\UXP
(macOS) Navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP

- Relaunch Illustrator

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Still didn’t work unfortunately. Do you think it is because of my low memory?

You could check out if this helps: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/illustrator-is-stuck-on-this-black-screen/td-p/11427549

If not, please continue in your own thread (this one here)

The 8GB - is the amount of RAM that you have? That's not a lot.
