I need a version of Illustrator that works with MacOS Cataliona. My originally CS6 software was downloaded from a disc, not the app so I'm running into some issues.

I need help finding a compatible version of Adobe Illustrator for my MacBook Pro 2012, which is running macOS Catalina. Unfortunately, I can’t upgrade to a newer macOS, and my system doesn’t support the latest Illustrator versions. Previously, I had an older version (maybe 2020 or 2021) that worked well, but I had to uninstall it and would like to reinstall a compatible version.

‏I have files I worked on in the previous version, and I do not want to lose them, so I need access to a version that allows me to open and edit them.

‏Any guidance on where to find a download link for a Catalina-compatible Illustrator version would be greatly appreciated.

There are no longer download links for versions older than 28, which is apparently only compatible with Big Sur (Mac OS 11) on.

Hello,

I have an issue with installing Adobe Illustrator. I recently bought a key for the windows 11 pro for the app, but it still says that i have to update the system. I looked at the requirements for the app and it's all good. What do I have to do to download that app? I tried to install it by Creative Cloud but it still said that I have to update the system. What do i do in that situation please help me I need that Illustrator for my exams. So sorry that the images are in the other language I hope it's not a problem. Thank you and have a nice day.

Hi,

recently I got iMac 2013 MacOS Catalina (I already have Macbook 2020, but this iMac has more storage) and I can't install older versions of apps other then Photoshop 2021. I read some threads of that said problem, but I don't get it I am so lost I don't even know how to contact real Adobe Support without talking with robot.

Few months back I remember that I installed older version of InDesign so I could open a file and I think it was a list of diffrent version, but now I think it was only a dream.

Could someone help me?

You can install some older builds of Adobe applications via the Creative Cloud Desktop App. But the versions offered go back only so far, usually just whole version cycle. In the case of Illustrator the earliest version offered is 28.0. If you open the apps tab in the CC Desktop App you should see tiles for each application. A three dots icon in the lower left corner of each tile will open a flyout menu. One of the options is "other versions".

Hi All! In Creative Cloud for desktop I'm only seeing versions 25 (the whole series) and 22.2.

What if I want to download any versions from 23 and 24? Anywhere I can find these? Is there a reason they aren't on the version list? Thanks!

(BTW, I am running the latest version of Photoshop on my main PC, but my old laptop needs an older compatible version)

I have imac 2013 and it has macos catalina 10.15. Intried to download adobe ilkustrator from creative cloud. But it was not compatible with my mac. Are there any way to download older version of ilkustrator? Or should I buy new pc/mac?

I purchased CS6 in 2013 - Installed on my laptop at the time, and then on a new laptop in 2018. That laptop recently expired, but I am now unable to install CS6 on the new laptop. I can log into my Adobe account, the CS6 details of serial number, and I can download the files.

I have tried downloading it using both Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome. I have tried installing with both set as Default browser. I have changed the setting in Edge to Allow sites to run in Internet Explorer, which is something I found mentioned.

Whatever, I have done when I run the Setup File, enter the serial number for my software, then I'm asked to sign into my account - when I try and do this I get a message to Update software, browsers etc, and can proceed no further.

I am assuming that the CS6 can no longer install on Windows 11, and is not longer supported or updated, and that if I wish to continue using Illustrator I will need to take up a monthly subscription.

Or does someone know of a way around this?
