Locking rotation in Illustrator

Is there a way to lock the new rotation feature in Illustrator? I mostly use a trackpad and when zooming in and out I end up with a rotated canvas that I don't want. I'm wondering if there is a way to either disable this feature or to lock it at 0 degrees.

Yes, Jacob, this "something else" is a real disaster.

My brother-in-law (he is a roofer) and me tried to help a bit on the ground, but I'm not sure if it helped.

You may update to the most recent version of Illustrator (25.4).

It has a setting in the general application preferences to enable or disable trackpad rotation.
