Question

More on that fricking flickering with Illustrator - A SOLUTION?!

Been several posts out there on that incredibly annoying grey artboard screen flicker, anytime when you move your cursor or art around. For me it starts when I wake my monitor from sleep mode.

I was tired of restarting the application everytime to get rid of it.

But now..

If you hit the 'Presentation Mode' in the Tools menu, toggle it from full screen mode back to normal screen mode.. voila!

Hello @SundayGladiator,

Sorry to hear about this experience. Would you mind sharing some more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator installed on your computer, system configuration (CPU/GPU/Memory/Monitor(s)/Tablet/Pen), and a screen recording of the problem, so that we can investigate this further?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Screen recording takes a lot of work.

Can't you just take my word for it? 🙂

For now, it's AI 27.0, Macbook M1 Pro, MacOS Monterrey 12.2.1

If I find a window within my work to come up for air, I will post a clip.

It's not that nobody believes you, but they need to see it in order to find out what might be causing it.

The machanic also needs to actually hear the strange sound in your car in order to figure out what causes it.
