Naming artboard and exporting to psd gives no results to the filename in Illustrator 26.5

It is the second consecutive update of Illustrator that has the same bug.

Giving a name to the arboard and exporting file as psd with "use artboards" checked, does not add the name of the artboard in the end of the filename as it used to do.

But if I have more than one artboards, then it works.

Please Adobe, fix this bug because it is something I do all the time, sometimes with many artboards and others with only one.

Sorry to hear about this experience. I would like to inform you this is an intended change in the latest version of Illustrator to accommodate the request on this UserVoice (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-feature-requests/suggestions/31723057-wh...).

 

The workaround is to rename the file name while exporting a specific artboard.

I'd like to add that if I choose a specific number of artboard to export (one of two i.e.), it won't work either. It only seems to work when there are more than one artboards and export all of them at once.
