Obrigado!

Go to Preferences → General, then look in General for an option like “Show 'Print Bleed' generative AI button on Bleed”.

How do I remove this giant red box that appears and scales when I zoom out? It looks like an Adobe ad for AI bleed generation and it's cluttering my screen. I don’t have any credits, and I’m not interested in purchasing any AI generation features. Just want it gone — thanks.

What the heck is the new message with three stars on the Bleed Line: Print bleed uses 1 credit per generation unless you have a plan that gives you unlimited access. Each generation outputs 3 variations." ?????????????? Personally I find this extremely annoying because I do not use AI features very often.

How do I hide the bleed generation icon in Illustrator?

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for sharing your feedback and screenshots. I understand how disruptive the red 'Bleed for Print' icon can be, especially when working with precise visuals and color-sensitive compositions.

I've shared this with the product team, and I can confirm that a bug has been logged for this issue and is currently being worked on. I'll make sure to keep you posted here with any updates as soon as they become available.

Appreciate your patience and continued input!
Abhishek

This is incredibly annoying! A job that should have taken a half hour is now consuming my morning. I already have a late version of Illistrator, but I have to stop and get a slightly later version in order to turn off this unwanted feature! I pay $50 a month for the Adobe suite and this is costing me even more money.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Our team has tried fixing this in Illustrator 29.7. Would you mind updating your app and letting us know if it helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Since the last update I notice a big unwanted info block in the Artboard panel about 'trying generative', it occupies almost the half of my panel, very annoying.

Any way to disable that?

So now I get this red flag prompting me to use ai for print bleed. No thanks Adobe. How can I switch this thing off?

The icon of the generative AI bleed feature that was added in the last update is objectively a very bad UX.

First of all it is used as a advertisement for the feature which while useful is not going to be used that often so showing it on screen all the time as a red permament icon is an annoying distraction. Second of all it's icon is too big, I accidentaly clicked on it a good few times while not even attempting to use it adn had to wait while it generated the input as there is no way to cancel it.

The feature itself is a nice addition but it shouldn't be available on screen all the time just because I have an active workspace. There should be a way to either turn the feature off just like recently added toolbar with genAI stuff which you can hide if you want, or just add the option to expand a photo in some top bar menu.

Don't distract your users just because you want promote a feature, if the tool is good, people will use it anyway - we already pay good money for it so don't make it feel like it's adware-full free app.

Voted, I think we need to be really vocal about it. I don't understand why only just a handful of people noticed it as a bad UX, it should never make it through a beta phase.
