Obrigado!
Hello everyone,
In the latest release of Illustrator 29.6.1, there is now an option in Preferences > General to uncheck "Show 'Print Bleed' generative Al button on Bleed." Kindly update to the latest version of Illustrator (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html) (if it has not already been updated) and let us know if it helps.
Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks for your input! Just to make sure we're on the same page, could you please share a screenshot highlighting the exact icon or option you're referring to in the "Print Bleed" area? That'll help me understand the context better and check with the team if there’s a way to hide or customize its visibility.
Looking forward to your update!
Abhishek

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. That really helps clarify the issue.
I'm currently checking this with the product team to see if there's a way to hide or customize the visibility of the red icon in the 'Bleed for Print' preview. I'll keep you posted as soon as I hear back with any updates.
Appreciate your patience!
Abhishek

The icon of the generative AI bleed feature that was added in the last update is objectively a very bad UX.
First of all it is used as a advertisement for the feature which while useful is not going to be used that often so showing it on screen all the time as a red permament icon is an annoying distraction. Second of all it's icon is too big, I accidentaly clicked on it a good few times while not even attempting to use it adn had to wait while it generated the input as there is no way to cancel it.
The feature itself is a nice addition but it shouldn't be available on screen all the time just because I have an active workspace. There should be a way to either turn the feature off just like recently added toolbar with genAI stuff which you can hide if you want, or just add the option to expand a photo in some top bar menu.
Don't distract your users just because you want promote a feature, if the tool is good, people will use it anyway - we already pay good money for it so don't make it feel like it's adware-full free app.

Voted, I think we need to be really vocal about it. I don't understand why only just a handful of people noticed it as a bad UX, it should never make it through a beta phase.

Hi everyone,
Thanks again for raising this concern and for sharing your feedback and screenshots. I've checked with the product team, and I can confirm that currently there is no option to disable or hide the red 'Bleed for Print' icon in Illustrator 29.6.
I completely understand how important this functionality is for your workflow, especially when working with precise visuals. I apologize for its unavailability at the moment.
Would you mind upvoting the UserVoice request for this feature here:

Adding your comments there will help our teams prioritize this request, and you'll be notified of any future updates or changes.
Appreciate your patience and engagement on this!

I understand that the Adobe team prioritize fixes and features but this thing is a major UX mistake and should never pass the testing phase - it literally makes working on projects with bleeds on a painful and distracting experience. Adobe as a pioneer in design tools should know from all these people that keeping a good UX is the key of an effective workflow. I get that they wanna promote the Adobe Firefly tools but Creative Cloud apps are already paid and bringing more and more invasive ways to integrate those feautres make me wonder what do we really pay for as we literally get features appearing on the screen as ads that we cannot turn off.

How to hide these annoying stamp in Adobe Illustrator

That says Print Bleed in the beta and can be avoided by using the regular version.
You can mention it here in the beta forum:

I use the usual version. Today I updated (29.6) and such a stamp has appeared and is extremely annoying.
The stamp disappears when the design does not have marked falls. If the document has fallen set to 0, the stamp disappears.

The current regular version is 29.5.1.
You are using the PreRelease version 29.6 (check the About screen), which also has that icon.

That is interesting, you are ahead of the rest of the world. Have not seen that update, but updates don't appear at the same time everywhere. What country are you from?

Part of it is in Polish, Ton.

I am tempted to say: Ah, that explains it, but that is just joking, Jacob.
I have not seen an update to 29.6 here in the Netherlands.

I live in Poland. I use the Polish version, which I updated today and received this red point in the working window, which bothers me a lot. I have currently set the value of the new document to 0. But this is not a solution.

Unless someone in this forum is marked as Staff, we aren't staff. We can't change it either.
The only thing you can do is post to https://illustrator.uservoice.com

Yes. But for every designer such a red point in the project frame is not a good idea.

Rafael,
Have you considered retreating to the version you used before (and hopefully still have installed, or you can reinstall)?
You can always move forward again.
