Obrigado!

Go to Preferences → General, then look in General for an option like “Show 'Print Bleed' generative AI button on Bleed”.

Has anyone else got this pop up in illustrator for an AI?? I cannot believe I am getting pop-up ads in a software I pay for... I've turned it off in preferences, but shouldn't this be opt IN ? Is there any way to permanently opt out of any and all pop ups for the whole adobe suite? If not I think I'm finally going to cancel my personal subscription and find atlernatives for my personal and freelance work.

This is not a popup ad.

It is a tooltip. You can turn off the red button in the Preferences.

Ya, wth Adobe. Nobody wants AI generating credit-baiting bleed marks or any other such nonsense. Be carful, or Figma will overtake you.

Please add an option to manually dismiss this advert and any others like it - it takes up valuable screen space on the layers panel and it was not clear that the only way to get rid of it was to try the feature.

Also the 'i' button appears to do nothing, at least on my system it did not bring anything up.

Adding a close or 'x' button to the advert and any others that are coming would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Abhishek,

I just found this post on Uservoice that describes the same issue, so I voted and commented on that:

https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/50112558-remove-the-window-below-the-artboards-that-reads

Thanks,

Mike

FORGET IT - I FOUND IT.

Aplogies, I just get so annoyed when all these new little additions keep popping up when im trying to work.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post – its so confusing to find where to answers.

Hello everyone,

In the latest release of Illustrator 29.6.1, there is now an option in Preferences > General to uncheck "Show 'Print Bleed' generative Al button on Bleed." Kindly update to the latest version of Illustrator (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html) (if it has not already been updated) and let us know if it helps.

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.

After the latest update I have now a quite annoying permanently displayed "suggestion" under list of artboards saying "Select an artboard with graphics and try Generative Expand to extend the artboard". There is no "X" on it or other way to remove it and even the "i" more info button doesn´t work (doesn´t open anything when clicked)... I´m attaching a screenshot.

I have a lot of artboards that I usually work with, so I need as much space as I can get to organize them, so this useless "tip" is very disruptive for my workflow.

I´d appreciate any help!

Possibly I'm wrong, but as far as I can see you cannot hide it currently.

I'd also say it's a distracting advertisement and I don't think it's a good idea to permanently display it in the Artboards panel.

I've been using Illustrator for 20+ years. I don't need to see messages that take up space on my desktop and would like the option of hiding them. This one in particular is thee any time I click on Artboards. make it go away!!

Hi rickself,

Thank you for sharing your feedback and screenshots. We understand how disruptive the red 'Bleed for Print' icon can be, especially when working with precise visuals and color-sensitive compositions.

We've shared this with the product team and can confirm that a bug has been logged for this issue and is currently being worked on.

We are tracking this issue on the parent thread: https://adobe.ly/4l99cj8. Please stay tuned for more updates.

Note: I am also merging this post with the parent thread for tracking purposes.

Thanks,

Harshika

I can't seem to get rid of this thing, it lags everything up, is annoying, terrible and I hate it, I don't have anything in preferences to disable it, it interferes with my work, nobody seems to be able to answer me, I disabled all the popups, it doesn't even go away when I disconnect from the internet.

Hi there,

As rightly pointed out by our expert, about the UserVoice for this issue.

Additionally, we are tracking a parent thread related to this, which will be updated with any future announcements on this issue.

The team is currently working on a quick fix that will include an option to disable this behavior via Preferences.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience

Thanks,

Harshika

How can I turn off this AI nonsense? It's really annoying and completely unnecessary!

Can anyone tell me what this this message, that's suddenly started appearing in Illustrator, is all about. Am I going to get charged for everytime I add a bleed to an Illustrator document/artboard.

Like everything from Adobe these days, it's very unclear.

Illustrator is the last Adobe product left on my Mac, but it very much looks like I'll be ditching that for Affinity Designer in the not too distant future.

Bleed can be generated with AI. It only costs credits if you use that.
