Pantone Connect not working

Hi - I have just purchased the Pantone Connect app to add colours to all my Adobe software - however, even though I can see the app in my software and the colours I have chosen, it just wont let me add the colours to my swatch. I click the link - but nothing happens. Same with the dropper tool.

What am I doing wrong? I am running all the latest downloads from Adobe.

When first opeing the connect app in Indesign/Illustrator I do get the message: Exception: ioerror: file or folder does not exist...?

Can anyone please help? I have emailed Pantone but dont expect a response quickly!

That is an InDesign error message. Do you have the same with Illustrator?

I would suggest that you also post this to the InDesign board - people over there do not necessarily read the Illustrator board (this one). https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/ct-p/ct-indesign?page=1&sort=latest_replies&lang=all&tabid=all

I would also suggest that you do a search on the Photoshop board, because Photoshop users might be the ones who most need the Connect plugin. Maybe someone has come across the message in any of those boards. https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem/ct-p/ct-photoshop?page=1&sort=latest_replies&lang=all&tabid=all

In any case: do you need Pantone Connect for the new colors? Because if it's just the old ones, you could install an older version of Creative Cloud, grab the Pantone libraries from it and install them in your current version. There are a couple of hints in this forum post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/pantone-solid-swatches-missing-from-2023-update/td-p/13352427

Unfortunately there aren't a lot of people using Pantone Connect on this forum. So it might take a while until someone answers.

It could probably help when you post screenshots of those error messages. Possibly with not just the message, but a bit of the surrounding panels. Thank you.

Here is a screenshot of the error message. Pantone connect then opens following the message.
