Toolbar in Illustrator keeps changing by itself

Why is this happening and how do you turn this off?

Can't get anything done because I'm continually looking for tools that

have magically moved all by themselves.

Ok so essentially, there is no such thing as a customizable toolbar at the moment.

Because when a feature does whatever it wants, and not when you want, that is not custom.

I am so glad that I finally found someone who is having the same issue. It is driving me nuts!

Unfortunately there is no way to lock the customisable toolbar at the moment.
