25mb file size for 43’4” x 8’8” mural ?

Hi,

I am creating a mock-up for a mural that will end up 43'4"' by 8'8"' . What size can I start with in illustrator? What do you recomend. I  understand the print shop can enlarge to any size. This will be a vinyl transfer to wall. Urgent reply soon please? Thx

You need to discuss this with the print shop. In cases like this communication is key. They need to tell you what they can work with.

But I do not know what print shop they use. So an educated guess will be helpful.thx

Thank you for getting in touch. As Monika mentioned, the best course of action would be to contact the print shop directly. Alternatively, you can start by creating your artwork at a 50% or larger scale while keeping the aspect ratio intact. Since it is a vector, they can enlarge it to their specifications without any loss of quality.
