Adobe Stock vectors into illustrator on the ipad

Hello 

Having real issues - cannot open Stock vector images (licenced) into Ai for ipad.

Brand new iPad Pro - so this shouldn't be a problem from the iPad's POV.

From Adobe Stock on the web page; the icon 'open in app' doen't respond and when it does - it tells me 'to use the "Open in" feature you must be logged in to Adobe Creative Cloud' (I am).

Then from Ai; I select 'Import and open' - select the adobe stock file from 'Downloads'  and I get a red error box saying '! cannot open adobe stock_234567.ai'

 

I have searched threads on this community and cannot see a workaround for this.

Please can somebody help - I have work to submit by Friday!!!

Adobe Stock 234567 is not an Illustrator file — it's a jpeg and you won't be able to actually open it in Illustrator for iPad.

If this is is the image you want, create a New file on your iPad. The image is 3000 x 2250px, so make your file at least that big to start. Then click the Insert Image button > Files > and select your file from the Downloads folder.

 

If you renamed the .jpeg to .ai, you will need to change it back to the correct extension.

 

 

If this is not the image you are looking for, you may have mistyped the number. Please double-check, then send the number and the weblink and I'll look again.
