ai file on iPad opens with nothing in it

Question

Newbie here. I got illustrator on iPad to try to create/design guitars as vectors for fun. I bought some files to play with, they're pretty detailed with layers so it's kinda a bummer I can't easily merge/flatten all the lays, maybe a future update will fix it. Anyways, the .eps files included in my purchase open, but the .ai file doesn't show anything at all. I can't find much I can do using an iPad, tried paying for an online repair tool but it didn't work either. I don't have a Mac or Computer w/ illustrator to try to fix the file. Is there something I'm not doing right or that I can do to open this file?

Thanks for sharing the details! It seems that the link you provided isn’t working for us. Could you please upload the .ai file to a service like Dropbox or Google Drive and share the link here? This way, we can check it on our end to see what might be causing the issue.
