Autosync between ipad and macbook not working

Hi there

The autosync/refresh feature is not working for me. I'm able to edit a piece of (cloud-based) artwork on either device, but I need to save it and manually reopen it on the other device. I see in Adobe's documentation that this should be automatic.

The file I am wokring with is very small for testing (100k). I notice when I update on the iPad, as asterisk appears next to the file name as if to indicate unsaved changes (so not autosaving). But even if I manually save, it does not refresh the open file on my macbook.

Any insight appreciated!

Re the attached from the above link, It says conflicts arise if saves overlap between devices, which is standard collaborative/live document guidance. It refers to workong on one device and continuing to edit on the other, which is also standard live document SOP.
