change the shape of a drawing on the ipad with the pensil

Hello, 

I would like to make some changes to the character I m drawing on illustrator, like changing just a facial expression or the shape of the face or adding a new shirt instead of trousers for example, and would like to know how to do that on the iPad with the pencil tool.

The only way to do it at the moment I can see is to select the selection point tool (sorry for my English here, don t really know what it is called in English. ). 

Does anyone have any advice or trick for me, please?

Bonjour, est ce que quelqu'un sait comment modifier un tracé avec l'outil crayon comme on peut le faire sure l'ordinateur mais sur l'ipad. Je ne vois que l'outil selection de tracés et de points sur l'ipad et je ne trouve pas ça fluide ni intuitif pour refaire une forme. Une idée?

In Illustrator for desktop you can edit a path with the Pencil tool when the path is selected. Unfortunately you can't do this in Illustrator for iPad. Instead it just makes new paths.

 

You can put in a feature request to the product developers here:

and post the link back into this thread so others will see it.

      I think @fabienne253223221vjm is asking how to rework existing paths with the Pencil tool instead of with the Direct Selection tool. This feature does not exist in Illustrator for iPad (yet) afaik.

      That s a shame it doesn't exist on the iPad. Hope it will develop at some point.
