Constant freezing

I'm having the same experience - for months this has been going on!  It's completely random whether the system works as advertised or it doesn't.  When it doesn't it becomes a real problem

iPad model:  iPad Pron (12.9-inch)(5th generation), 1TB (943 GB available), 18.6 OS

All AI, PS and FR updates are current. 

I've saved files locally hoping to avoid lag with CC stored (online) files. I assume, I hope correctly, the AI/PS native app ensures offline performance with files stored on my ipad? 

In any case, I'd sure like to know how to avoid this sort of down time.  Sure, I can use the desktop software in the mean time but that's simply not the point of the investment I made in iPad for the sake of taking advantage of the touted adobe improved creative workflow.  

And a side note: Truth is, whether it's poor performance or simple lack of the very basic features, the rollout of all adobe products for ipad the system continually gets in the way of getting anything done without Oh so many work arounds.   Seems odd for a company known as the bona fide leader in creative software products would have such a shabby rollout.  Best take this seriously or lose the pole position - a lot of developers creating impressive replacement software.

Could you share more details of the version of the iPadOS/Illustrator installed, your iPad model, and if Illustrator behaves this way when using a specific tool/feature or when working on a particular file, including a small screen recording of the problem (if possible), so I can better assist you?
