Crash when opening/creating documents

There is an instant crash anytime I open an illustrator document to work on, I am authenticated and have paid the subscription.

 

it doesn't matter if it's a new document or a previously created one.

    Are you on Windows?

    Can you check if the PDF printer is set up as the default printer?
