Hello, I'm looking to see if it's possible to use the gradient color feature when using the pen or pencil tools?  I can do it with the blob tool, but can't seem to do it with pen or pencil.  Thanks!

If you mean you want to apply a gradient directly to the stroke made with the pen or pencil tool, this isn't yet available on the iPad. You can apply a gradient to the fill of a shape you draw with the pen or pencil tool.

Yes, that is what I was/am hoping to do.  Thank you for your replies.  Do you know if it's possible on the desktop version?  I also put in a feature request on the feedback section.

The blob brush creates shapes.

The other tools create open paths.

You can only apply gradients to certain brushes

You can only apply certain gradients to strokes.

Please show us what you are doing and what you want to do.
