Hi everyone I'm new to the iPad illustrator I design dirt bike graphics on my iMac I make my template a clipping mask and draw into it trying to do it on my iPad and struggling making the mask ok it's just clicking in to draw

Is it only making the mask you are struggling with? Select the layer, then choose Make Clipping Mask. 

 

 

 

If you accidentally draw something outside of the Clip Group, just drag into the group using the Layers panel.

 

Or is your question something else?
