Question

How to hide coordinates overlay?

When moving objects, the little grey overlay showing the x/y coordinates is in the way and not of use to me. Anyone know how to disable this in the ipad version? I've seen it answered for desktop, but not for ipad.

Hi @jenhintz,

Thanks for bringing this up! Currently, there's no option in Illustrator on the iPad to hide the x/y coordinate overlay when moving objects. It's built in to help with alignment and positioning.

I completely understand how it can feel intrusive depending on your workflow.

Since this isn't currently a feature, I recommend raising a request on UserVoice, where the product team actively reviews user suggestions. Once you've created the request, feel free to post the link here so others who'd like to see this change can upvote it and help get it prioritized.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I've been trying to for half an hour and your system isn't allowing me to login- and I don't need help, one of your own engineers is just down the hall and confirmed this is not a problem on my end. So by all means someone go ahead and do it, but apparently that's not going to be me today.

Are you referring to Uservoice where you want to log in?

You cannot use your Adobe ID there. You need to create a new account.
