Illustrator app crashing on iPad

Hi Everyone,

I installed illustrator on my iPad but it does not open.
Whenever I try to open the app it shows the splash screen and then closes. I restarted my iPad, uninstalled the application and reinstalled. it, but I still can't open it. Anyone know what's wrong with it and how to fix it?

We are sorry for the trouble & delayed response. Would you mind confirming the iPad model, generation, & exact version of iPadOS?

Also, would you mind sharing the latest crash report (by date) again so we can investigate this further?

How to look for the crash logs:

Open iPad Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data. You will see file names like "adobe illustrator-2023-01-03-083327.ips" (2023-01-03 is the date in the log & 083327 is the time). Ensure you share the recent log file after the crash happens by looking at the timestamp.
Upload the file to (https://assets.adobe.com) and share a link to the file here or via DM

Hello I am actually encountering almost the exact same problem after running Illustrator for ipad seemlessly just weeks ago!

Hi @Anthony278316495h1g,

We are sorry for the trouble. It has been found that Illustrator is crashing on older versions of iPadOS. After updating the iPadOS to v15.7.2 and v16.2, it fixes the crash.
