illustrator font display issues

I'm having trouble displaying fonts properly after selecting my text and cycling through the different fonts available in the app. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? The different font styles display as numbers and symbols, and in a lot of instances not at all, and the font list goes complete blank at times. The fonts will not show up properly until after click back inside the image area. I'm using a brand new M2 2022 ipad pro with the lastest software updates.

Sorry for the delayed response. It appears that you're encountering font display issues within Adobe Illustrator on your new iPad Pro. Have you tried reinstalling the Illustrator app? Also, please ensure you are using the latest public general available iPadOS, i.e., v16.6.

 

However, if you are still facing font display issues, would you mind sharing a screen recording demonstrating it? I will forward it to the product team for further investigation. Thanks!
