Illustrator for iPad crashes when I use Apple Pencil…please help!

Works great when just fingers, but get the Apple Pencil anywhere near and crash! Brand new iPad and 2nd gen pencil. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    Yeap, it works! I'm having the same problem and turnning the pencil effects solved the issue!
