Illustrator for iPad is Infuriating

Illustrator for iPad is a mess. I can't use the paint brush tool for more than a minute before the app crashes and doesn't save my work. I've talked to multiple Adobe help line workers about how frustrating it is and none of them have given me a solution. I'm about to quit paying this much a month for something that doesn't even work. Anyone else having issues with this app on iPad??

    Yep, me too! Crashes every time I add to layers. Seems it has a cache problem, and can only hold limited information at a time. Autosave would be good. As is, I lose work every time, besides the hassle of setting up brushes and palettes again each time I reopen. Needs a fix, or it is basically unusable!

      Please report this via the feedback function in the app, because otherwise the engineers will not know and can't fix it or help you.

      We are sorry to hear about the crash. Would you mind checking if all of your work is synced online (https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents)? If yes, kindly try deleting the app, restarting your iPad, and then reinstalling Illustrator to check if it helps. If the issue persists, kindly share some more details, like the exact version of Illustrator and the iPadOS installed on your iPad(model), and a screen recording of the problem so we can investigate this further.

      I have been told to and done all of the above. It has never worked for more than a few hours and then the app will start crashing again.

      Please tell us your hardware specifications and please show us a sample of what you are drawing.

      How much free space is on the iPad, when did you last completely reboot it to clear the memory?

      Hello,

      This is a brand new 9th generation iPad and it’s completely up to date.
      There is also over 200 GB of space left on it. I have attached a screen
      shot of my device info and the art I was working on when it crashed every 5
      seconds.
