Illustrator for iPad keeps crashing after OS 17.1.1 update

My iPad Pro 4th Gen. 11 in. Automatically updated a few nights ago and now Illustrator keeps crashing when I open it. I've tried a hard reset. I've made sure app is updated to Version 3.0.5. Don't know what to do? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    I never received a response for a fix from this last issue. But now my ipad updated again to OS 17.1.2 and again adobe illustrator is crashing??? Really fustrating...

      I'm also on the same page. Illustrator 3.0.5 is crashing once i open or create a document. Same thing; I started to experience this once f.ing iPadOS 17.2 got installed automatically. Not Apple or Adobe want to face the music and fix this sh... I'm losing a lot by being unable to work, not only the hefty monthly amount Adobe charges for this joke, but I'm actually losing business and no one helps.

        Hello, I've just tried doing this and it seems to have worked. Maybe give it a try.

         

        This issue seems to happen because of a new setting in iPad OS 17.1 and affects only 12.9 inch (6th Generation) iPad Pro and 11-inch (4th Generation) iPad Pro: they both support Pencil hover which is not yet supported by Illustrator.

         

        This can be resolved by going to Settings > Apple Pencil and turning off Show Effects.

        This doesn't fix the problem for me o iPad Pro 11'' (4th generation) with iOS 17.1 and Illustrator updated. I have apple pencil but it crash even when I don't use it.

        Please fix the problem with a new Illustrator version. I have a deadline for a job I'm maiking.
