Illustrator freezes on my brand new iPad Pro as soon as I’m Illustrator freezes on my iPad Pro 5th g

Just bought a brand new iPad for school and it seems to freeze as soon as I open illustrator I am having trouble even getting through the interface once I do I can use it but it seems to freeze whenever something pops up. Thanks for your time thank you for your time
