Illustrator iPad BUG - Brush strokes automatically changing to 1pt even after changing strokes value

It's getting ridiculous.

I've tried contacting help, and I'm being told that no one can or will help me, and that there is no support for Illustrator iPad.

I'm paying a monthly fee for this software to work. (And yes, I've deleted and reinstalled, I've updated to the newest version, I have an iPad Pro, etc.)

Here's what's happening:

While I'm drawing on the iPad, suddenly without warning and for no reason, my already drawn brush lines will default to a 1pt square line.

In the cases fo the attched files, the lines are drawn in 1pt variable width (pressure) set to 98%.

"Undo" does not affect the change, because no action made it happen. It's just a glitch in the program. So far, the only solution is to stop, open the file in the desktop version, and reassign the proper brush to the the lines again, checking every layer (sometimes it's all layers, even locked ones, sometimes it's only a few).

It's incredibly frustrating and time-consuming.

The link is a video to show the process of fixing it. Attached are two images that show the bug and the lines as they should look after I've spent several minutes resetting them.

This is what they said to me:

We had a conversation regarding your issue that already created art is changed to a default brush so we suggested to uninstall the Illustrator application restart the system and then try to install Illustrator.

As we had already informed you we have limited support for the iPad since Illustrator is desktop-oriented. I hope you understand and I deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. Please check if there's any updates left from the apple and check it out.

If you are still facing the issue, kindly feel free to reach us back and we will be glad to assist you further.

You can refer to the below-mentioned self-help article and save it for future reference:
