Ipad Help for Noob

I'm new to Illustrator, but generally pretty quick to learn new programs. I've been playing around with Illustrator on my iPad, but am finding there are a LOT of things that are available on desktop version that aren't on the iPad.

One example is to 'draw inside'... I've watched videos on how to do it, but cannot for the life of me figure it out on the iPad. I'm hoping that in time, more tutorials will come out since it's brand new, but man am I getting frustrated.

Are there fewer features, or am I just not finding them?

A lot of features from the desktop are not available on the iPad and probably won't ever be.

The thing about Illustrator is that there are often several different ways a thing can be done, and a lot of the newer ways (like draw inside) are just another way to do something you could do before but maybe a bit easier.  I would think you could do the same thing as "draw inside" using clipping masks, for instance.  I'm sure when the engineers came up with the initial feature set for Illustrator on iPad, they had to prioritize and at least initially eliminate some features that could already be done a different way.
