Ipad Illustrator App closes immediately

I think the app is crashing on my ipad air 4. I just installed it so I'm not sure if I have done anything wrong. As soon as I click the app it shows the logo then closes. I tried un-installing it but nothing changed. I have illustrator on desktop and that one opens fine, I thought it would be better to work on my ipad because my computer is old and it would be disappointing if it didn't work on another device as well. I have the crash report but I don't know who to send it to or how. Should I post it here? Is there anything else I should try?

Okay with the new update it opens now. I think that fixed it but I'm not sure if I did anything else that might have helped.

I suppose it's iPad OS 17?

Does that happen when you use the Apple Pencil? If so, can you try and turn off the Pencil Effects in the system settings?

I didn't use the Apple Pencil. It crashes after opening a file

Can you check whether your iPad meets the requirements and there still is enough free space on it?

My system does meet the requirements but for some reason it still closes.

Legend

I would start by running a system cleanup (check your system settings thingy) and uninstalling the app, then installing again.
