iPad Illustrator Blob Brush and Paintbrush Not Filling In/No Secondary Function

Hey everyone,

Recently the illustrator app paint brush and blob brush have stopped filling in the shapes, but the pencil tool does so I know the app still has the capacity. Curiously as well, the secondary function button disappears when those are selected vs. other tools.

No matter what color for fill I choose, when I draw, it resets, and even more frustratingly, it doesn't allow me to choose a fill after on closed shapes.

I've tried to show the disappearance and switching in screenshots below. I've already deleted and reinstalled the app, reset the iPad, and checked for updates. iPad 7th Gen/iOS 16.5 Screenshots are provided below
