Ipad Illustrator Fonts Missing

Has anyone got a fix for missing fonts on an Ipad?

Everytime i load up a design, certain fonts appear in a pink box with an exclamation mark, i go to change the font back and the font has disappeared, i look into the font categories and select a category, Say Comic Category and all that in visible is INDIVIDUAL TAG FONT LIST.

The only fix i have found is to delete the app and reinstall the app to get the fonts back, obviously this is not practical.

It does this on the two ipads i have, both are upto date with iOS and the ilutrator apps.

One ipads 8th gen and the other is a 2024 ipad air, which was bought to run Illustrator without the previous bugs i've had which adobe can't fix.

It's getting very expensive to run Adobe Illustrator when i factor in all the issues

In addition to your iPad are you using Creative Cloud on a desktop/notebook computer running OSX or Windows? How are you managing the fonts that are added/installed thru Adobe Fonts? Are you adding the fonts using a regular computer or doing so on the iPad?

Normally I would just install added fonts via the Adobe Fonts service into the iPad using the Creative Cloud app. That way any app on the iPad could use those fonts. But apparently the CC app for iPad looks like it has been discontinued.

I usually do all my type-oriented work on a regular computer. Working with fonts on the iPad platform is a real pain in the neck.

I'm using a 2024 Ipad Air and also an 8th gen Ipad, 18.1 iOS on both and Illustrator 3.0.7

The fonts are all downloaded from Creative Cloud on each individual iPad.

If the CC ap has been discontinued that will explain what part of the issue is.

I've run on the 8th gen for 3 years and had nothing but hassle with it crashing every few minutes, so updated to a new Air but thinking the issue is just Adobe.

2. Navigate to Privacy > Analytics and Improvements > Analytics Data.

3. Look for file names like adobe illustrator***.ips.
