Ipad Illustrator Paintbrush Crash

Whenever i start working with the paintbrush tool, it will work for 1-2 minutes and then it will stop responding. Ill tap everywhere on my app and nothing happens, so i have to force close out and when i re-open it, it doesnt even save what I last did.

I have an IPAD 10 (2021 model) and latest Illustator version 1.3.4

I was able to make a design in under 2 mins with paintbrush but now when i select the object it crashes instantly!

We are having the same issue, creative brushes seems to crash a 2020 Ipad air repeatedly, killing my highschooling trying to get a desing class project done. They ahve to exit every coouple minutes to forcde a save to stop loosing work... pretty much reduced to tears :(.
