Question

Ipad Pro Export Options and blurred PNG

Hello,

i have a problem with Adobe Illustrator on Ipad Pro.

I created a logo with the vector tool and as i finished, i wanted to save it as a 400px x 400px and export it to PNG.

The result was a blurred logo. It was useless for uploading it as a Twitter profile picture.

I tried to export the logo to PSD and opened it with Photoshop on my Ipad Pro. First, it was blurred, too.

Second, the size of the logo was suddenly liek 1800px x1850px.

The only way i can have the quality as in Illustrator is to export it to PDF.

Is there any solution?

Thank you!

Hello @bonifacio341609825eqd,

Thanks for reaching out. Would you mind sharing a link to the file you're having trouble with (https://adobe.ly/3Ujz7rW) with the link set to public and the option a save a copy enabled so that we can check it on our end?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Export to rasters (image) formats work with fixed resolution at this time and the team is trying to bring in more controls in upcoming releases. I'd request that if you could take out a moment and post this as a feature request here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/. This way you will keep getting all the updates related to this feature & other users can also upvote, which would help us prioritize.

In the meanwhile, the document from iPad syncs automatically to the desktop, so you can use the desktop Ai to use these features.

Regards,

Srishti

PNG is a raster image and 400 x 400 px just isn't very high resolution.

Thank you for your reply!

So it is possible to save the .ai (which was originally 400px x 400px) file as something like .png oder .jpeg in the same size as i created the .ai? My point is to have the exact quality with my 400px x 400px .ai file with something like .png (same px)

You won't be able to get that.
