My image is frozen

I have been working on a vector drawing for sometime now on my iPad Pro on illustrator.
Now for some reason my image is frozen. I can't zoom in or out, I can't tap on it and I can't draw on it.
none of the layers are locked. I can still touch all the tools on the edge but not my image.
Any idea what's wrong?

No I tried that too. I just duplicated the image and used that one instead and it worked.

Did you maybe turn on the palm detection?

In that case you can only use the Apple Pencil for drawing. Fingers won't work.
