Pantone colours in docutmen from Ai desktop file not transferring across to Illustrator on the iPad

I have created an AI file on desktop with Pantone colours. When I open up the file in Illustrator for iPad they have not come across as a Pantone colour swatch in the swatches panel.

Is it only possible to add swatches from within Illustrator for iPad itself?

Any advice appreciated
