Random Response issues and freezing

I'm sorry if this has been asked as I can't find a way to just search this specific board but I went back a few pages and didn't see anything.
I am using an iPad gen8 for illustrator, not a pro.
I was getting along just fine doing drawings until the last few.
First it began with one that I assumed I just completely overwhelmed due to complexity.
It had A LOT of small paths specifically on one layer.
I was completely unable to do anything on the excessively detailed layer and ended up duplicating the drawing and deleting it.
I later combined multiple drawings into one on my actual laptop and was able to function it it fine but on the iPad I could not even click on or hide things on that layer.

Then the past two drawings I've done the program seems to just stop responding sometimes when I try to click or move things around and so I typically would back out to let it save and go back in and it's fine but now it's getting stuck on the saving screen and I just have to close down the app completely and reopen.
I've even tried restarting the iPad completely and it's still doing it.
This particular drawing is not even very far along or detailed so I don’t see how that could be the problem.
Given this is an iPad I don’t know if there's even troubleshooting to be done I guess I am just wondering if this is happening to anyone else because for the first two weeks everything was completely fine.

Also side note, does anyone else experience erroneous opjects appearing on the layer that aren't clickable or deleteable but disappear after backing out and coming back into the document?

They tend to be like ha,f of a path of an object I created lol.
Just kind of weird lol.

Hi there,

Sorry about this trouble. I am hopeful that the issue was fixed by now. If not, please try updating the application to the most recent version. We have recently released an update for Illustrator on iPad (1.2) which contains some stability fixes. If you are not already on (1.2), then we recommend you to update to latest version and let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Srishti
