Hello,

I am trying to create text on a path in illustrator for iPad. I create a path and text, then group together, but when I click on the T option to the right of the screen the 'text on a path' option is not highlighted therefore is not an option for me. No matter what I do this option stays greyed out, someone help please!!!?

Correct answer Michael J. Hoffman

You should not group the two items together. Select the path, then hold the touch button and select the text. You should then be able to select the Text on a Path option.

Alternately, tap and hold the secondary touch button and drag the text on to the path.

yes.  "using the community", where you posted, would be the correct forum to post questions about how to add files to your post (can't be done) and how to embed images (copy and paste) to your post.

i moved your question about ai for the ipad to the appropriate forum.
